Support mental health and wellbeing as proceeds from the Big Rapids & Reed City Hospitals Charity Golf Classic will fund the Spectrum Health Adolescent Behavioral Health Telemedicine Clinics in Osceola and Mecosta County schools.The Big Rapids and Reed City community lacks local treatment resources for adolescents. As a rural community with a lack of resources, this is forcing teens to wait months for help and incurring travel to Grand Rapids for assistance. As an engaged community, we must remove barriers to behavioral health assistance. By having behavioral health telemedicine housed within area high schools, the transportation, privacy and financial challenges teens sometimes face when seeking help are removed. Even though we are unable to meet in person, select sponsors will be offered gift cards to golf at their leisure. Thank for joining us in supporting mental health and wellbeing for area adolescents!
